2016 Singapore Masters female: Cibulkova surprise champion
Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova proclaimed Sunday Master of the WTA unexpectedly winning the final to world number one, Germany’s Angelique Kerber in straight sets.
Kerber had been unbeaten in the tournament dropping just one set – just in the first round of the Round Robin at his executioner in the final – Cibulkova 27 with 7 titles to his credit he never won a tournament of this nature and is the first Slovak tennis player achieves the year – end Masters.
