The Italian Fabio Fognini (5) and the Portuguese Joao Sousa classified Wednesday to the quarterfinals in the Konzum Croatia Open Umag while the Serbian Dusan Lajovic and Slovenian Blaz Kavcic debuted successfully.

In the course Open in Bogota, Colombia, local hero Alejandro Falla – finalist in 2013 when losing to Ivo Karlovic – lost to Rajeev Ram but youthful Daniel Elahi Galan won the Catalan Pere Riba.

Sousa who had an easy first round against Croatian Local Androic, also went problems facing the third seed of the tournament, the Italian Andreas Seppi and won 6-2 6-2.
