With the dispute of the meeting in Brussels, the Diamond League 2016 has concluded. Thus, since the names of all the winners of the various tests are known, both male and female category. And among those are the two Spanish athletes: Ruth Beitia and Orlando Ortega.

Beitia last year became the first athlete of our nation to win the Diamond League. This year repeated success being the best in the high jump for the second consecutive year, rounding off a tremendous year in sports and, of course, be unique.

Ortega, meanwhile, opens in the Diamond League with Spanish nationality and could not do better. With four wins, the Cuban – born athlete surpassed classification Jamaican Omar McLeod, achieving another accolade to accompany his Olympic medal.
