Euro 2016: the tournament venues (II)
In the final straight to start the Euro 2016, we will know the stadiums where the tournament will be played. In a first delivery already we met half of the seats and now in this second installment will know the other half, among which are the venues in which Spain will play their matches in the first phase.
Toulouse Stadium is ten headquarters, the least able; it can only accommodate 33 thousand spectators. Now it will host a match knockout and four matches of the group stage, including the Spain – Czech Republic 13 June debut of us in the tournament.
The second meeting of the selection, Spain – Turkey to be played on June 17, will be held in the city of Nice but not in the classic Estadio del Rayo but in the Allianz Riviera, the stadium that the OG Nice moved in in 2013. This building has a capacity for 35,000 spectators and besides the aforementioned meeting will host two other parties of the group stage and one of the second rounds.
In Bordeaux, the old Jacques Chaban-Delmas, built in 1938 for the World Cup, has given way to Stadium Bordeaux – Atlantic , another enclosure built following this tournament. Girondins new house has a capacity of 42 thousand spectators and we will see very well because one of the four games of the first phase which will play home is Spain against Croatia.
If the Spanish team ended as the first of Group D , as we would like and we hope that happens, Del Bosque would have to pack up Lens, for there would behoove play his second round match. It would be in the Bollaert Stadium – Deileis , famous stadium for hosting more viewers than the inhabitants in the city and has hearth, since it was inaugurated in 1931.
Finally, we close this review of the venues for Euro 2016 with the city of Villeneuve d’Ascq and the Pierre Mauroy Stadium. It is another relatively new stadium, as its first game was played in 2012, which has moved the Lille, leaving the Metropole. The enclosure, with capacity for 50 thousand spectators, will host two match’s knockout and four of the first phase.
